Situated snugly on Sukhumvit Soi 27, Enoteca Italiana is an upscale restaurant that attempts (and succeeds) to capture what I consider to be the true Italy. Enoteca is an Italian word that means wine library or wine receptacle, and you won’t be disappointed by all the options here – both for beverages and food!
With entrances on Sukhumvit Soi 27 and 31, Enoteca is easy to find. We arrived just in time for our reservation and were warmly welcomed by Nicola, the charming and charismatic co-owner and manager. His father created the restaurant 11 years ago and it is still a big hit in Bangkok!
Their secret to success is simple: focus on the originality and true taste of simple ingredients mixed with high-end products. And of course, the talented chef Marco also has a few secrets up his sleeves…
The Bottom Line
The price range of the main course dishes starts from 490 to 2,000++ B. The surprise four-course menu is 1,650++ B and the five-course menu is 1,950++ B.
Enoteca is absolutely worth a try for the fantastic flavor experience. The entire degustation menu comes in portions half the size of the a la carte menu, but you’ll be full either way! Without any doubt, it is THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT in Bangkok.
